After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and International Studies from Emory University, during which he studied in Vienna, Austria and Madrid, Spain, Douglas moved to Miami where he completed his law degree at the University of Miami as well as his Masters in Business Administration.
A portion of Mr. Hiller’s practice is focused on condominium collections. After serving on a condominium board for almost four years he became familiar with associations, how they function and collections. He has also defended condominium owners against associations abusing their authority or not fulfilling their duties. In addition, for almost nine years he has handled various areas of construction law, from collections which include lien foreclosures and payment bond claims, to preparation of construction contracts. He also handles real estate matters such as residential and commercial lease preparation and review as well as landlord/tenant disputes.
