My commitment is to the community, as it has been for my past sixteen years as a resident.  Pinecrest Village Council is a volunteer, nonpartisan position which is why I am especially proud to make a big announcement:  I am deeply honored to receive bipartisan Congressional endorsements, from Donna Shalala as well as Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

Congresswoman Ros-Lehtinen, who represented us in Congress from the 1980’s until 2018 has decided to support my campaign because of my record of putting the community first.  This is not about partisan politics; it is about a government that serves you, putting our health and safety first, and using our public funds responsibly.

From the other side of the aisle, our current Congresswoman Donna Shalala has also chosen to support my campaign.  Noting that in this moment we need “community-focused leaders more than ever,” the former University of Miami President has decided to lend her support for this campaign that is about keeping us strong during trying times.

I have balanced my career, family, and community.  This has been with groups like the Palmetto High PTSA and titles like “mom.”  My first and primary commitment is to keeping our community safe and strong.  This is not about politics for me, but about people.  My husband and I have made our life here.  We have raised our kids here.  We want to continue to meet the vision of Pinecrest’s founders, and I am so grateful that both Democrats and Republicans are seeing that in this campaign.
