Dear Friends,

My name is Shannon del Prado and I am running for Village Council Seat #3.

Twenty-five years ago, our Founders created Pinecrest so that we could take command of our own safety and our own future. We are now ranked the #1 suburb in the Miami area. (https://www.niche.com/places-to-live/pinecrest-miami-dade-fl/). We have much to be proud of.

Exactly one year ago, I embarked on a journey in hopes of safeguarding our legacy. On Tuesday, you will choose. If elected, I will work hard to meet our current challenges and those that are yet to come. I will do so in the same spirit of cooperation and community that has guided this campaign. The same spirit that has guided my commitment to our community.

I want to thank you for your consideration, for the time you have taken to read my emails, postcards and social media, for safely engaging with me at your door, or perhaps at the Farmers’ Market. If elected, I will always be just one message away if you have thoughts or concerns. It would be my honor to serve the community I call home.
